Markets Edge is committed to digital accessibility. Our publisher, Jenny Huang Goodman MPA MSc MHSA, is limited in hearing as partially deaf and chooses not to wear assistive technofixes. Accessibility is personal to us, not an afterthought.

Our Standard

We aim to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III guidance for business websites. We work to meet or exceed these standards across every page of Markets Edge.

Site Features for Accessibility

Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (nav, main, article, aside, footer), and descriptive link text.
Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable by keyboard. Skip-to-content link available on every page.
Screen reader friendly: ARIA labels on navigation, role attributes where needed, alt text on images.
Color contrast: Body text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios. Our cream-and-terracotta palette is designed for readability.
Scalable text: Fonts use relative units (rem, em) and clamp() for responsive scaling. Zoom to 200% without loss of content.
No audio/video autoplay with sound: Any video on our sites is muted by default.
Plain language: Where possible, we avoid unnecessary jargon. Financial terms are explained in context.

Some rendered video content on sibling sites (pops4.com product videos) does not yet include closed captions. We are adding captions to all new videos.
Historical articles on partner sites may have legacy markup we are progressively upgrading.
