Editorial Standards
How Markets Edge Is Made
Markets Edge is a daily editorial intelligence brief. Every issue follows the same process:
- Scour. An automated scan pulls headlines from rotating financial news RSS queries (IPOs, private equity, hedge fund filings, activist stakes, sovereign wealth, auction results, credit ratings, corporate rebrands, and related categories).
- Rank. Signals are ranked into seven tiers — DIAMOND, PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, STEEL, GRAPHITE, PAPER — based on deal size, market-structure impact, and pattern signal strength.
- Write. A large language model drafts items and articles using our editorial system prompt. A human operator reviews outputs when possible before distribution.
- Publish. The issue is posted at pops4-ma.billing-010.workers.dev/ and pushed to our X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky accounts.
Voice
Markets Edge is written in a deliberate editorial voice: calm, specific, numerical, with mild snark. It is not a neutral wire service. It is a curated brief with a perspective. Read it as such.
Sources
We cite primary sources where possible. Every lead item includes a link to the original reporting. Where a URL is unavailable, we note it.
Analyst Angles
The "Analyst Angles" section on top-tier articles presents hypothetical takes written in the editorial style of well-known institutional investment desks — Renaissance Technologies, Bridgewater, Pershing Square, JPMorgan, Citadel. These are stylistic editorial exercises for readers, based on each firm's publicly described investment philosophy. They are not attributed statements from those firms. Markets Edge has no relationship with any of them.
Corrections
We care about accuracy. Email info@pops4.com with corrections. We will update the article and note the correction inline.
Commercial Disclosure
Markets Edge is published alongside POPS4 (wholesale branded merchandise) and Huang Goodman (demand agency). Both are commercial businesses operated by Hako Shikin LLC. Links to our services appear in our content. We do not accept paid placements in editorial content. Advertising, when present, is clearly labeled.
AI Use
Markets Edge articles are generated with large language model assistance. Our system prompts, editorial voice, tier system, and curatorial choices are human-authored. Facts in AI-generated content should be independently verified before acting on them.
